Chris has worked his agricultural career in swine production, contract production management, training and compliance, as well as genetic and animal health sales. He is a graduate of River View High School, and he holds a BS in Agriculture (Animal Science major) from Ohio State. He served in the US Army and Army National Guard.

Chris and his wife Tina own a small farm in southwestern Coshocton County. They are parents to four children, Sarah 23, Rachel, 21, Luke 19, and Leah 17. Chris currently serves on the Ohio Pork Producer’s Board, FCA Leadership Board (Fellowship for Christian Athletes), and is an elder at Perry Chapel Baptist Church.
