ServSafe Manager Food Safety Training

The ServSafe® Manager Food Safety Training course will be offered on Tuesdays, March 4, 11, and 18 from 9 AM until 4 PM with the proctored exam Tuesday, March 25 at 9 AM The ServSafe® Manager series will be held at the Coshocton County Services Building. Class size is limited to 15 participants. Pre-registration is required and will be available in January 2025.

The ServSafe® Manager training meets Ohio Department of Health Manager Certification in Food Protection requirements by providing in-depth food safety and safe food handling education for owners, managers, and operators within the food service industry. This training enhances understanding of major food safety principles, including factors leading to contamination of food, time and temperature abuse, cross-contamination and personal hygiene. Program participants will receive a textbook and take the National Restaurant Association ServSafe® certification examination. Those successfully completing the course and passing the exam will receive Ohio Department of Health Manager Certification in Food Protection certificates.
