Ohio State University Extension and Coshocton County Farm Bureau will be hosting an informational program on Ginseng Hunting and Cultivation on August 14. Speakers for the program include Chip Carroll, Sanctuary Steward at United Plant Savers Botanical Sanctuary, Jeff Berry, Muskingum County ODNR Wildlife Officer and Jerrod Allison, Coshocton County ODNR Wildlife Officer.

Hunting for ginseng can be an enjoyable income-generating pastime. There are definite rules when it comes to hunting ginseng, and there are several best recommended practices for growing wild-simulated ginseng. Learn from ginseng experts and get answers to any questions that you may have about hunting and growing ginseng.
