The ServSafe® Manager Food Safety Training meets Ohio Department of Health Manager Certification in Food Protection requirements by providing in-depth food safety and safe food handling education for owners, managers, and operators within the food service industry. This training enhances understanding of major food safety principles, including factors leading to contamination of food, time and temperature abuse, cross-contamination and personal hygiene. Additional topics include the flow of food from receiving through service, food system management, pest control, and cleaning and sanitizing. Program participants will receive a textbook—developed by the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation— and take the National Restaurant Association ServSafe® certification examination. Those successfully completing the course will receive Ohio Department of Health Food Protection Certificates.
The ServSafe® Manager series will be held at the Coshocton County Services Building, 724 South 7th Street, Room B100, Coshocton, OH 43812. Class size is limited to 8 participants.
