The ServSafe® Manager Food Safety Training course will be offered on Thursdays, June 8, 15, and 22 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., with the proctored exam Thursday, June 29 at 9:00 a.m. The ServSafe® Manager series will be held at the Coshocton County Services Building. The ServSafe® Manager training meets Ohio Department of Health Manager Certification in Food Protection requirements by providing in-depth food safety and safe food handling education for owners, managers, and operators within the food service industry. This training enhances understanding of major food safety principles, including factors leading to contamination of food, time and temperature abuse, cross-contamination and personal hygiene. Program participants will receive a textbook and take the National Restaurant Association ServSafe® certification examination. Those successfully completing the course and passing the exam will receive Ohio Department of Health Manager Certification in Food Protection certificates.
A separate ServSafe® Person-in-Charge certification training will be Tuesday, August 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Coshocton County Services Building. Those successfully completing the course will receive Ohio Department of Health Person-in-Charge Certification in Food Protection certificates.
