Is solar energy right for you?  Learn how solar energy development on the farm could help to lower costs.  This program will provide participants with an overview of Ohio’s renewable energy and net metering policy, on-farm solar applications and assessments, a case study from a Medina County farmer with an operating solar system, and a review of the USDA Rural Energy for America Grant Program.  Participants may also receive a free, personalized solar assessment if they bring their electric bill with them to the program.

The program will be held Monday, August 3, 2015 at The Animal Boutique and Villas, 23905 Airport Road, Coshocton from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

A mobile solar unit will also be on-site to demonstrate how solar technology works.  A complimentary lunch is provided for those who pre-register.

We thank Paradise Energy Solutions for sponsoring this program. Please call 740-622-2265 by July 29, 2015 as pre-registration is required to receive lunch.  Please also let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.
